LinkedIn approves us: we are official developers with access to the Community Management API

What happened

LinkedIn has approved ImationGroup as an official developer with Tier access to the Community Management API. It is LinkedIn's official way to automate most actions on its platform — and obtaining it is not trivial: it requires passing a review process in which LinkedIn evaluates who you are, what you build, and how you handle user data.

Why it matters

The world of "LinkedIn automation" is plagued with tools that use scraping, unauthorized browser extensions, or bots that simulate human clicks. They work… until LinkedIn detects them, and then:

• The customer's account is restricted or permanently closed.
• Extracted data cannot be legitimately used (legal issues with GDPR and LinkedIn's terms).
• The tool stops working at any time, without prior notice.

With official Tier access, none of this happens. We work against the endpoints that LinkedIn provides, with the agreed rate-limits, and the data comes with explicit user consent. No risk of bans, no surprises.

What we can automate

• Post content on personal profiles and company pages, with configurable scheduling.
• Read and respond to messages in your inbox.
• Manage comments on your own posts.
• Access real analytics (impressions, interactions, reactions) by post.

All within the framework that LinkedIn allows and under the control of the user who authorizes account access via OAuth.

To get here, LinkedIn audited:

• Who ImationGroup is as a company (legal structure, team, track record).
• What we build with the API and how we present it to the end user.
• How we handle data: encryption, retention, data subject rights under GDPR.
• Our OAuth flow and the permissions we request.
• The expected behavior of each endpoint we use (volume, frequency, context).

It is a high filter, and that is why there are so few companies with this type of access for automation on LinkedIn. We are proud of the team's work in making it happen.
